Many newer phones don't have a regular 'gallery' and instead have a google photo app. Personally I don't like the trend in doing that, but every manufacturer is different. There, however, any free gallery apps you can install. There is one called "Simple Gallery" that is pretty good and not full of ads or in app purchases.
