I have a Dell laptop with Windows 10, and about every 15 minutes the Wi-fi goes out, and I need to use the troubleshooter to get it fixed. The first error listed is "A network cable is not properly plugged in or may be broken (Detected)" The other one is "Problem with the wireless adapter or access point (Fixed)" Every 15 minutes I have to do this, and I have tried tons of fixes with no help. I have reset router, flushed dns, reinstalled drivers, swiched dns to the google 8-8-8-8 one, a few other commands as admin, changed settings so the wi-fi won't be turned off to save power, and it is still doing it. Any ideas or new fixes I haven't already listed? Thanks

Question, will the laptop connect, and stay connected, via Ethernet cable? If it will, then the next thing to test is, if you can borrow an external WiFi card from someone, connect it to your USB port on the laptop and see if it will stay connected to your WiFi.

If it does stay connected, then the WiFi within your laptop is shot. The only way around it then is to either have the internal one replaced, or purchase your own external one.
