Solved! Wich is better AMD A10-9620P or Intel Core i7-7500U?

Hi, I am planning on buying a laptop, but I do not know wich will be better for me. I am buying it because I will use it to work. Both brands are HP.

The AMD A10-9620P have the following especifications: AMD Quad-Core A10-9620P (2MB cache), 12 GB de SDRAM DDR4-1866 (1 x 4 GB, 1 x 8 GB), AMD RADEON 530 R5 DDR3 4GB, 1 TBB (5400 rpm).

The Core i7-7500U 2.7GHz have the following especifications: Intel Core i7-7500U 2.7GHz (4MB cache), 8 GB de SDRAM DDR4-2133 (1 x 8 GB), AMD RADEON 530 R5 DDR3 4GB, SATA de 1 TB (5400 rpm).

I have been searching in internet a lot of reviews but I saw so many opinions that I am not sure. Thanks for your time and I hope you can help me.

You should go with the Intel setup.

Hi,

While some say AMD APU are awesome, for me, always been a let down. Always under performing bang for bucks.
This from my own experiences. But this depends on the usage.

For basic internet usage, word processing and light gaming the AMD system will do just fine,

For higher usage, I would favor the i7 system. The other thing to consider : the price.
I guess the i7 system is more expensive than the AMD one.

Thanks, I will see. The AMD is cheaper but I read that the i7-7500U (Fisnishing with U, are not very good at all, but I was in some reviews on internet). I need the computer for work, maybe downlodge a light program to edit some photos and videos (just the basics). Thanks for your answer and if you have any feedback let me know please

As per the benches, 7500u is more efficient on most workloads. It might be weaker compared to other processors in i7 category, but it is still stronger than the AMD processor.
