I have a new ipaq 4155 and really am excited about
having wifi, becuase i've had a wireless network in my
home for a long time.

But, when i turn on the wifi on the 4155, it pops us and
asks me how it should connect with my network. I
select "my isp." But, when i try to open internet
explorer or email, it's not connected to the network.

what am i doing wrong?

Excellent! I haven't read through all of the information
yet, but I've already been able to use it to get my WiFi
all set up. There is a TON of useful info there, so why
isn't it made more obvious for newbies to find and use?

Anyway, thanks for the help.
