Wifi doesn't work On Windows 8 notebook Dell inspiron 1440

Hi. I've just tried all the suggestions above, but it still does not work. The message that appears on the diagnose is:
"There might be a problem with the driver of the Wi-Fi adapter".
I'm desperate! Help, please!

We can't tell what you've tried because you haven't told us much. All I can say for now is to uninstall the drivers for your WiFi adapter and do a clean install of it.
