Wifi is not connecting on dell laptop

I have a dell laptop it's WIFI is not get connecting I had tried to connect many times but it shows that the it is "Attempting to authenticate" the WIFI but it is not get connected. What will be the problem and what should I should for this??

Try deleting the network, and reconfiguring it.

Reboot the router and the modem.

Install the latest drivers for the WiFi card.

Replace it with a USB wifi adapter.

Test another computer or cellphone on it
try USB wifi adapter
try Ethernet cable
i want to discard this being a PC config problem and tell you it's an ISP problem

Remixex is correct is stating we do not know if this is an ISP issue at this point.

Until we test another device on the network and see if it works, we don't know if it is a computer issue, or a network issue. If it is a network issue, need to see if it is the LAN, or the ISP.

A good fix starts with a good diagnosis!
