It might be because you have no internet connectivity from router. Try restarting router and forget the network from phone and reconnect. It might help

click on forget wifi in your phone and try reconnecting again, be sure the password is correct

is the SSID hidden by the router? Do you have to enter the SSID manually?

does your router use MAC filtering?

Which router is it? brand and model

check the router´s log for errors

temporarily disable the wpa2 password of your router and try connecting with your phone

try a power cycle. unplug your router for a 20 count. Do not use the power button if it has one. If it does not work, will your phone work on another wifi like at work or at a family members or friends house

Restart your device and your router. Try using the device on another router to confirm if its your phone that's playing up.
