Wifi won't connect

I have MXQ Android Box which picks up my wifi but won't connect. Keeps saying authentication problem though I punch in the correct password.
Can someone assist.

update the firmware of the Box
some passwords may be problematic, try if it would work without password. If it does not work, have a look if the router you wanna connect to has MAC filtering or similar enabled
