Lots of modern TV have got rid the headphone jack. That's the way it is.

Your option often goes like this: Optical --> Toslink-to-RCA-converter --> inline vol control ---> headphones.

If your X Rocker and TV both have bluetooth that would work too.
I think your chair has a volume control so you wouldn't need an inline one.
