Will my B&W speakers work in the US?

I bought a pair of nice Bowers & Wilkins CM5 speakers when we lived in Hong Kong. Hong Kong is 220V while the US is 110V. I knew the Yamaha amp I had in the system would not work in the US so I got rid of it. The speakers I was not so sure about and kept them when we moved.

Now I have unwrapped the boxes they are in and they look magnificent but can I just plug them into a 110V amp here?

The only information I can find on the back of the speakers is: CM5 Bowers and Wilkins, 120W/8 Ohm.

The owners manual specs only describe frequency range, dispersion, sensitivity, harmonic distortion, etc. It does say "Recommended amplifier power 30W - 120W into 8 Ohm on unclipped progamme," but that does not tell me anything about electrical power input.

Can someone guide me in the right direction? I don't want to blow these babies up.

Many thanks.

Those speakers have no direct connection to the power grid. US power grid vs Hong Kong power grid doesn't matter. The amplifier connected to the speakers changed the power grid to DC and then back to an audio signal to drive the speakers.

Thanks very much. I suspected as much but wanted to check and see if it indeed was the case.
