I'm wanting to play the new sims 4 game on my Hp ProtectSmart laptop, its got intel core i3, will i be able to play it or is there anyone that has already with this sort of system ?
Almost every time the compatibility of a game is calculated in terms of graphics card specifications along with the processor that the computer has.
Even though you did not provide any details about the graphics card that your laptop has, assuming that with i3 processor you would have a decent one, it seems you can play the game on your laptop.

If you're laptop has integrated graphics (intel hd graphics) you would probably have to play Sims 4 on medium-low settings with minimal to no lag. Your processor is good enough to make the game run smooth. If you want to run the game on high settings you should get a graphics card with 2GB or more. Also Sims 4 is optimized to run on lower end computers so in the settings i think there is a "Laptop Mode" setting or something along those lines which will help the performance Hope this helped!
