It is too old; from 2011. The integrated graphics core is too and not powerful enough to play the Sims 4. You will need a modern laptop with a 7th or 8th generation Intel CPU to play the game.

My ex girlfriend played sims 4 on my old laptop.
You can buy a laptop with:
1. i7 4700hq /4700mq (this is 4th generation of i7.
2. any nvidia GTX graphic card. not "GT".
3. 8gb ram.
and it will work trust me.
There is many 2nd hand (used) laptops of this kind for less than £300 on ebay.

I have recently sold my old laptop (i7 4700mq/12gb ram/ GTX 765 2gb) for $350 (~£320) in great condition.
