Will the sims 4 run on my laptop?

Ive been searching around but i cant find a solid answer.

My laptop has an intel core i3 processor a intel hd 520 graphics card 8gb ram and 2TB of storage if you need anymore information please do let me know.

It should be able to run based on the below video of an i7-6500u with the Intel HD 520 running it at 1080p with medium graphic settings. Base game only; no expansions. Frame rates will be a little lower with the i3-6100u. You can always lower the resolution and / or lowering the graphic settings for better performance.

You can download the 48 hour trial version of the game which allows you to play the game for free to determine if the performance is good enough before you buy it. It seems to be on sale at the moment for $25.

Will the sims 4 run on the acer aspire E 15 the processor is an i5-5200U, Intel HD Graphics 5500, up to 4181 MB Dynamic Video Memory, 8GB DDR3 L Memory, and 1000 GB HDD.

According to the link below that has games benchmarked with the Intel HD 5500, the Sims 4 can be played at high settings at 1366x768 resolution with an average of 29 FPS across several different laptops.

Lowering the graphic settings to medium should increase performance, but the Sims 4 is not a fast pace game so ~29 FPS should be fine. You can even try medium settings and 1600x900 resolution, maybe even medium settings and 1920x1080 resolution... unless of course your laptop only has a 1366x768 resolution.
