Will this laptop run games without overheating?

I know the specs for this laptop will allow it to run less demanding games like League of Legends and World of Warcraft fine on medium settings. The issue I have is that in my past experiences, although a laptop may have the proper video card and processor to run games, it may run into problems with overheating if the CPU and GPU don't really have sufficient cooling. Why a manufacturer would make a laptop like that I have no clue.

So right now I'm looking to replace my shitty laptop that always overheats when I play games. Do you know if this one will as well? Are certain brands better with heat issues than others?

Looks like a solid laptop. Lenovo makes nice laptops with pretty good build qualities from experience.

That GPU is ranked 166th ....

Id wanna get in the top 50 (765M ...... or at least 750M).... with a laptop that is designed to support options for hotter running cards ..... but that's $1000 territory

Lenovo doesn't "make" a laptop BTW, they have an OEM put Lenovo stickers on them.

The vast majority of laptops on the market (94% in 2011) are manufactured by a small handful of Taiwan-based Original Design Manufacturers (ODM), although their production bases are located mostly in mainland China.

BTW 2 .... Ya have to clean out the dog hair, cookie crumbs and other crud once and a while. Take off the bottom cover and blow everything out w/ compressed air.....hold ya finger on fan so it doesn't move and pay special attention to heat sink fins.

Yeah the GPU isn't the best. Because it's a cheap ass Laptop. But it's all I need really to do what I want it to do. I'm just worried about the cooling issue.


Edit: Just saw your edit. So you mean the build qualities are going to be similar since they come from the same sources?
