Will this splitter work?

I ordered Y splitter because i am about to buy a headset and my laptop has only 1 jack for headphones/mic, but I don't know does this splitter "support" microphone.

The male end of the splitter does, but no idea if the connections go to both female ends. It should work for two sets of headphones. Microphone support is unknown.
Since it is on Ebay, ask the seller.

No. That just provides 2x 3.5mm headphone jacks so 2 persons can listen to music.
