Will unplugging an amplifier while it's on damage it?

I have a Lepai LP-2020A+ Amplifier -- a cheap little $20 or so amp -- that's been serving me well connected to my desktop speakers, but I want to get a remote power outlet switch so I can turn it off remotely so I can better use my PC as an HTPC when necessary. Will suddenly cutting the power to it while it's still on damage it somehow?

Not likely since the power switch on the front does the same thing.
