Will Windows 10 slow down my laptop?

Hello all,
Am currently running windows 8 on a 1 year old Toshiba satellite with an intel i7 processor. Should I install the free windows 10 upgrade or will it slow down my laptop?

If Toshiba has windows 10 drivers already setup for your laptop then yes windows 10 will improve the speed of your laptop.

I have Win 10 running on a 3 week old ASUS Transformer, and a 6 year old Toshiba laptop.
Both run slightly faster than their previous OS, Win 8.1.

Most people report a sight speed improvement. 1-2 percent.
Just make sure to update the bios before you update and pick up current drivers before you update. Then after the update pick up the current windows 10 drivers from your motherboard vendor.
