Windows 10 audio and video stutters

Hi all,

Recently after no hardware chnages or even any updates (that i noticed but windows 10 can be sneaky) my audio and video play back has random issues where it jitters for a few seconds and then will be fine for a minute then happen again, when this happens for the second or so it happens my whole PC locks up. I can then reboot my pc and it will be fine for a few hours but then it will start happening again, I have tried reinstalling drivers and this issue occurs if I'm using my speakers or USB headset.

Are your temps ok? Does this just happen while gaming? Have you reinstalled the games where it happens?

Temps sit around 25-30 degrees C, it happens on all games and youtube videos, and local videos

Just realised it gets worse if i try to do something at the same time like i was watching a youtube video and opened the "visual studio" staller and the stuttering got really bad, could my SSD be failing?

Probably isn't your SSD.

Are you using HDMI out for audio?

Nope audio is either from my speakers which are plugged straight into my motherboard or my USB headset
