I own a Dell Inspiron 15 3567 15.6 Laptop and have had it for easily less than a year. The only thing it is used for is music production (but I still haven't even used it now than 30 times, if that). Recently every time I run my laptop, Task Manager says that the "Disk" is that 100%, Lily every time it runs even if the only thing I have running is file explorer and task manager. I've googled the problem and have not been able to find a solution that's worked. I would greatly appreciate it if you are able to help me out...
Thank you!

Have you gone here and run Detect Drivers to see if anything new for laptop - https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/product-support/product/inspiron-15-3567-laptop/drivers

Run an antivirus scan? Run Malwarebytes?

does the same thing happen in safe mode -
go to settings/update & security/recovery
under advanced startup, click restart now
this restarts PC in a blue screen
choose troubleshoot
choose advanced
choose start up options
click the restart button
choose a safe mode (it doesn't matter which) by using number associated with it.
PC will restart and load safe mode

Try running HTune on the hdd, check the health tab and let it run a SMART scan
