Windows 8.1 Upgrade

So i have windows 7 sp1 ultimate 64 bit.my hardware:cpu fx 4350 4.2 ghz,gpu:gt 630,ram 4 gb...how can i safely upgrade from my current os to windows 8.1 64 bit professional? what should i do to prevent problems during installation?note that i will install from a usb stick.

Shouldn't be any problems. Just make sure to back up anything important, just in case.

should i reinstall the appropriate drivers for the new os? if yes?then which drivers should i install?

Drivers are tricky; not everything is going to have Windows 8 support. You might want to look into that before the upgrade.
