Wireless DVD player to smart tv

I want to connect a DVD player wirelessly to my smart tv. Wife is a "Don't want to see any cables" freak and my tv is wall mounted. Thanks.

how far away is the dvd player?

if it is nearby the best option is to just route the cables through the wall and use a wall plate behind the tv and behind the player and any of your other devices. its relatively easy to put a wall plate in and route cables. they also make flat wire you can paint over (http/www.taperwire.com/) and while not my first choice would also work.

wireless hdmi accomplishes what you want however the signal can degrade pretty heavily with distance. its also more expensive than just running a cable through the wall.
