This would be exciting news if your ISP provided more hotspots throughout the city. In my city, Time Warner has Wi-Fi on the public buses but ATT is mostly at Mc Donald’s, FedEx, and Starbucks locations. I wouldn’t drive out of my way to these locations but would just use my cell phone data plan. Let’s hope this starts the ISP to expand Wi-Fi coverage.

In Alaska, one of the local ISP's is offering free internet to companies willing to host a hotspot, this has lead to huge adoption rates of the hotspots in nearly every type of building from the gym to the mall. Its actually really cool, and wireless N blows LTE out of the water in both savings and speed.
