Wondering about my cell phone and laptop??

Do I have to pay extra$$$$ for my HTC EVO cell phone to be a router for my Dell laptop??

Yes..... if you want to pay more for nothing. I think its crazy myself. Data is limited anyways so what matters the source?

The app pdanet allows it for free. Secure sites and email don't work thouhas

Rooting and using miui gives the most freedom. The cell towers don't realize the data drawl is from the laptop so its unrestricted. Its what I use.
