Won't connect to Wi-Fi, says wireless adapter is not flu d

I bought a 2n1 tablet/laptop in last December, worked perfect. One day I was on the internet and it kicked me off, and now says the wireless adapter can not be found? I Google solutions and it says to install and reinstall but I don't have an internet connection because it won't search for Wi-Fi and it doesn't have a slot for an Ethernet cord. Not sure what happened or what's going on.

If you have a spare USB port, buy a cheap wi-fi dongle. Use it to find drivers for the built-in device and if it fails to wrok, you have a new working wi-fi system. If it does work, you still have a spare device for teh future.
