How can anyone complain about this? Any of these terms can return porn or something very NSFW.

Sure, a word like teen turns up pretty clean results right now, but what about a month from now? What about when you add other words? What if someone is typing in "free teen advice" but when they get to the "free teen" part, all of a sudden the top results are porn?

[citation][nom]wribbs[/nom]Seems stupid when google already has a safe search filter setting.[/citation]

Safe search only really works for image search, and even then if you search for something that will get a lot of porn hits, you'll still get some porn.

[citation][nom]nebun[/nom]so what expert decided that these workds were bad? some are, but not all of them.[/citation]

I don't think it is so much the words themselves are "bad" - it is more that these words would inevitably bring up instant results which are decidedly NSFW.

'get my sister'.......

right we need to euthanize the internet, it's the only answer

[citation][nom]Zoidman[/nom]I like how both Barenaked ladies, and New Pornographers are band names and deemed "dirty". And that even doing a search of "New Pornographers" on Google renders clean content (on at least the first page). Fail Google... Fail.[/citation]

Is this super hard to understand... If you are providing realtime results you want to control what happens to pop onto the screen during typing. Anything that people would type expecting a benign result and instead are presented with pr0n instantly without even clicking Go is worth Google filtering it (at least in their opinion.)

Im changing search engines after this. Goole used to be the best when searching for ( Bare naked hairy lesbians clean some cream pies from thier dirty pillows while watching the latest kamasutra dvd ) the world of smut has lost its biggest promoter.

Umm... you can still search for it, and if you're typing it you're looking for it. Just press enter people! Yeah, Google Instant is nice, but remember the good old days when you had to hit a button to search?
