working with two hdd

Hellow there. I have Dell Latitude E6520, and I want to use 2 hdd on my llaptop. But i will need to replace them time to time (because i dont have 2nd slot and i dont wanna make one!) My question is : will I have any problem if I change them often ?

If you get a external USB drive and plug it in then you have a second one. but I wouldn't keep 'swapping' them as you will break the connections / cabling constantly swapping them in and out (dunno why you want to swap drives). NO you can't boot off the USB but if you need storage that is what people do normally.
