Would this work for Pansat S/PDIF audio output conversion?

I'm just wondering, it seems that a Pansat 2500a receiver will only output
AC3 audio via an RCA S/PDIF jack on the back. But, some receivers only
have an optical S/PDIF input. Would a device such as this:
http://www.cablewholesale.com/specs/10tp-08200.htm
be the proper one to use to convert the signal? From the description it
appears it would be but I'm just wondering if anyone has actually used this
device or something similar, and could tell me if it works okay in this
application.

Look like it should work.
