Would you recommend this refurbished laptop?

I'm looking for an HP laptop model (preferably the Envy 17) for under 700$. I had originally thought it was impossible to find, since I live in Canada many stores won't ship them at all (the official Hp website at least) so my laptop options are pretty limited.

I have now found the perfect laptop model for only $569 with the perfect specs for me. The only problem is, it's refurbished. I've never bought anything refurbished before in my life and I want to know if any of your past experiences could help decide on whether or not I should gamble on the "perfect" laptop model.

Have you had any problems with HP refurbished products in the past?

Or even refurbished products in general (preferably laptop related)?

i would not touch a refurbished one. and it's not like you can open it and isolate the problem if there's any (like what we do with desktops).

That's what I've been worrying about. With the money I save from getting it refurbed though, wouldn't that pay for a longer warranty? So if something were to go wrong, I could simply return it?

if it will only break down once, then yes, more than that then for me is too much
