As much as I want this phone (and I really really want it). I'm not going to give my money to Verizon. I always wanted a pure Google phone, but this one isn't that pure because Verizon always puts crap on their phones. This phone will rival the HTC ReZound and Moto Razr, but out of the 3 from Verizon, I'd still take the Nexus.

I'm on AT&T right now and will wait for the new phones to come out. Tegra 3 phones are due out Q1 of 2012. If the benchmarks for the Galaxy Nexus still stands out, I might just pull the trigger when a GSM version comes out.

I bought the HTC Rezound on launch day 11/14/2011 KNOWING GNex would be released "eventually", but I am not looking back! True HD LCD NOT Pentile SAMOLED, the ability to swap SD cards, better camera specs (and pictures based on examples), Ibeats sound with included earbuds, smaller bezel. Sure it weighs more but with an extended battery the G'Nex just can't compete.
SO no ICS YET..I can wait a couple of months. Sense 3.5 works great on my phone.
So G'nex may beat it in Sunspider but most tests are very close..but for me the Rezound just works. Loving it!

I refuse to pay more than $200 for a "smartphone. In a month or two it will be half the price if not cheaper. I have my limits. If I was Mr. Moneybags, then sure I'd buy whatever, but until then, no $200+ phones for me.
