[citation][nom]AlexTheBlue[/nom]Yeah except in this case they're both stubborn like mules. I personally liked the Courier concept, but I don't think it was ready for prime time. They should bring it back though, in a couple of years, so I can buy one to use for e-books, comics, etc.[/citation]

Watch, by that time Apple will have done it, and MS will have another "D'oh!!" moment.

[citation][nom]mosu[/nom]Microsoft is not a hardware provider and for the moment we just don't have competitive mobile graphic chips for dual screen devices, so i think this was the real problem that stopped or delayed the Courier project.Expect ATI or nVidia to step in[/citation]

Although, that didn't stop them from getting into the console race, trying to "bring the PC into the living room" lol.

What's ironic is that Microsoft's tactics with the Xbox brand remind me far more of Apple than PC.

Wow, Now this is a product I would have given serious consideration to. The heck with pads, gimmie something that will fit in my pocket (hopefully) and protect the screen(s) at the same time. I was really looking forward to this coming to market so I really hope MS changes their mind, esp if they make this a phone too , or Mr. Allard does indeed create a startup.

Microsoft makes keyboards and mice, I think they are capable of hardware.
