Hopefully, nay sayers will finally begin to understand how the kinect is far superior to the wii controller and PS3 Move. I have been saying that for the last year on this site, as have others.

[citation][nom]Zoonie[/nom]I still dont understand why there is an accelerometer in the Kinect =|[/citation]
proportions in images change as you change the viewing angle. allowing the device to detect the viewing angle will allow it to better compensate for the angle and offer a more accurate movement and gesture detection.

Anyway, microsoft should have given it support for windows from the beginning, imagine being able to control some of your programs using visual gestures, or use google earth or other apps, or navigate 3d models 9basically creating a 3d mouse)

If their goal is to sell many units then adding windows support will make more people buy it.

I concur I've thought the same as well. I think this would be very handy for those with physical handicaps to be able to operate a PC. Certain movements could be customized to certain actions. This device has more potential than just video games. To top it off the device is
decently affordable and performs quite well. I for one want to see it be successful and see
it evolve and implemented in much more than just video games.
