sons xbox one has been stolen person or persons are using his xbox live account how can we track ip address location when they log on so we can go recover xbox

most likely not a possibility you would be able to do this. Your best chance is to contact microsoft / xbox live support, and asked if they could do it for you, but i doubt they will

have contacted police gave them no. from xbox but nothing has been done

Microsoft keeps IP records for years for their email services and xbox live subscriptions. You would need to have microsoft forward the current IP being used on the system to your local police department. If the person is using something like a VPN it would be hopeless.
