Xenta speaker connected to external LG monitor not working!

I have a MacBook Air, connected to an external LG monitor. I have an Xenta speaker connected to the monitor via USB but no sound is coming from that, is there something I need to change on the monitors or Mac settings?

How is the monitors' usb port connected back to the macbook? And did you install the Xenta's drivers on your mac?
