recently I'm using HTC Explorer. But now planning to buy Xperia NXT series for heavy gaming like 'Dungeon Huter 4' and Modern combat 4 etc.
My budget is around 20k Indian Rupees(340 USD).
I think 2 smartphones I should go for:
1.Sony Xperia S: Dual-core 1.5 GHZ,1 GB RAM,Adreno 220,12 MP camera,32 internal,No expansion slot.

2.Sony Xperia SP: Dual core 1.7 GHZ,1 GB RAM,Adreno 320,8 MP camera,8 GB internal,BRAVIA engine 2

I think I should go for SP but confused as S is also mid-range king.So please sugget me what to buy?
Thanks in advance.

Definitely SP. Its specifications are higher than S which ultimately makes it a complete winner here.
However you might want to wait for a while and let Sony or any other company launch a good quad core mobile within Rs. 20000 and buy it instead since games tend to take advantage of 4 cores.

One more thing, there are a few quad cores available as well and are worth considering -

Micromax Canvas HD
Intel Xolo Q1000
Intel Xolo Q800 / Q700
Intex I - 5

All are quad core and pack in a punch. I am myself in favor of Q800 (Rooted and upgraded to 4.2.1) due to its superior gaming performance over any dual core.

Agreed , Quad Cores beat Dual Cores in gaming. But TBH my Xperia S does satisfy me , on Modern Combat 4 and Dead Trigger. But wait , both phones are above budget , And wait , there's the XOLO Play , that too with a 16GB memory card on Flipkart - http://www.flipkart.com/xolo-play/p/itmdmnpqsasmcvsp?pid=MOBDMKDAKQGCYZ6D&icmpid=Xolo_PhonesHome_July8
Under budget , is a Quad Core with Tegra 3 ( Sure Tegra 4 is out , but no one has a Tegra 4 in india ) and a so called *12Core* NVIDIA GPU. The best part is TegraZone which is Tegra phones exclusive. Also if you don't want it , surely don't get a Intex phone. Most guys around me had their phones some thing or the other dead or blowed off ( one had it LOL )

Agreed with you that quad-cores are suprior but LAVA(Xolo) has no standard in India. They are(LAVA,Micromax etc.)are considered as "Chinese company".
Earlier I decided to buy Q800 but I shocked when I came to know that there's no customer care centre of LAVA company.

They are not Chinese Company to be honest, but Indian companies.

They are still very new so that could be one of the reasons for them not having service centers around the globe / country.
But their sets are very awesome. Those who got them are very satisfied and rightfully think that they could not get such good hardware from any other company for those prices.

But it all comes down to personal preference here. If one likes Xperia series then its solely their choice. :)
