Seems like it, outperforming a 670mx. However I hear tell of micro stuttering. I have imagine this would put a damper on gaming, fps drops here and there. Wondering if anyone who has experienced it would say its not a big noticeable problem, or would getting a 660m be better with the lesser performance. Or spend even more money for a g75vx. Right now it's between a y500 SLI or 660m y580

Yeah I agree to a point. I mean the SLI. Outperforms its expensive single card alternatives which is why I'm on the fence. I feel like ill buy SLI and get upset with SLI problems. So it's my unsure attitude is now leading me to either a y580 or a g75vx

When SLI works (80-90% of the time) 650m SLI 50-60% better than 660m.
When SLI doesn't work (10-20% of the time) 650m 20% worse than the 660m.

Go for the SLI'd 650ms. Most of the time there will be a a significant increase, sometimes there will be an insignificant decrease.

Yeah I read the notebook check review and nothing strikes me as bad just don't know what to expect with SLI problems. The 650s seem really powerful and for 1000$. The 660m is weaker yeah and I can't afford an asus vx. Not like I'm playing crysis or super demanding games. Mostly maybe a little guildwars 2 and maybe a little WoW. Thanks for your I put fellows! I think I'm just looking for problems. 1000$ for a laptop powerful than high end expensive alternatives just seems like a dream! Glad it's an awesome laptop ill snag it off newegg when I sell my desktop

Yes, Plan on 3 weeks. Is a 3 week wait worth $500 savings? I thought it was.

The shipping time is off also. Lenovo list a week for shipping. Once UPS get the order, it only took 2 days to get the order to me.

Yeah I'm leaning towards newegg. Honestly I stream stuff and I never buy DVDs and well all games are pretty much digital download nowadays so! Perfect for me. With the visa discount it's a flat 1000$
