Solved! Yoga 12 power on/no display

Hey guys,

As the title says, I have some issues with my Yoga 12. The screen stopped working although the laptop turns on. Tried draining the power and hard reset it, checked the screen brightness, connected it through hdmi to my tv and I get image so I really don’t know what’s wrong with it. Going to the display settings when I try to choose the diplay I can only see the external one. No option for the main display.

Oh and right now it has a new monitor installed as I thought that’s the issue but I get the same problem.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

If you can see fine on the external monitor, then your attached display, or the ribbon cable that connects it, are your problem.
