Lol, poor kid.

@Toms, you're a little behind the times, even our cheap local newspaper that prints news copied from the internet when it couldn't completely fill the paper with Viagra ads (Not exactly Viagra but cheaper, local substitutes) got this news a week ago. Till now, I've ridiculed comments about how back behind the times your news is, but they might have a point.

Heh, reminds me of that old Pepsi ad a few years back where they said in a commercial that if you gave them like 7 million bottle tops, you got a jet, and some kid actually saved up enough caps to get it! I forget how it turned out, other than them not giving him a jet, but it was pretty funny.

Unfortunately Pepsi reneged on their offer 🙁

What actually happened was that a business student attempted to purchase 7M 'Pepsi Points' at $0.10 a pop with the intention to redeem them for the harrier.
Pepsi claimed that, despite the advertisements, they never really offered the aircraft as a prize and refused to honor his redemption.
The case was taken to court, heard in 1999 and unfortunately found in the favor of Pepsi.

It is to bad to, that would have been a hell of a prize =D

Locking your computer is advisable even for people without kids. My cat once deleted over a thousand emails from my inbox when she snuggled down on my keyboard while I went to make a cup of tea.

[citation][nom]christop[/nom]yeah how can a 7 year old pull this.. bullshit[/citation]

My 2 and 3 year old turned on my desktop, and managed to open Solitaire and Battlefield Bad Company 2 while I was taking a shower. Imagine my surprise when I came into the office and saw my kids in my desk chair with Bad Company 2 open.

I now turn off the power supply on the back of my PC case to keep them from turning things on anymore just in case they figure out how to open FDisk. 🙂

Add a CRT with the old "harrier" game installed into the cockpit and then GAME ON! Totaly awsome, I want one for my back yard but I don't think the neighborhood association would aprove it ;-(

[citation][nom]gsxr1181[/nom]Happy bidding. And they will even float it to you with free shipping![/citation]

If they don't like it, show them the business end of the L1A1 SLR that you get "Free with every Harrier purchase!"

48 seat submarine. Cool. Bet some Mexican drug dealers are having an eye on that one. 🙂

@freggo

Well we give drugs dealers arms and money to keep the bussines running(govmnt aproved)so let our taxes move.

[citation][nom]guanyu210379[/nom]An old jet on ebay? Can I find an old nuclear submarine too?[/citation]
It's not that surprising to find an "old" jet on ebay - or other sites. There is a warbird market out there (just look through airshows.) And for ebay - just go there, go to ebay motors, other vehicles, look through a few pages of aircraft, or go to military - besides trucks and jeeps, they've got an F-15 drop tank and Sherman lower hull, apparently, at the moment.

Submarine... depends what you're looking for.
