YouTube app stuck on YT Red signup

Somehow my Youtube app got put on the signup screen for Youtube Red, and I can't get out of it. It's the select payment screen. There's a single "Buy" button on the bottom and an X on the top left, however the X does nothing, and I DON'T want to sign-up. I tried disabling and re-enabling it, but it's still stuck on that screen when I open the app. It's completely broken, I just want it to go back to the normal app it was before.

Have you tried...

1. Uninstall the app (not turn it off or remove the icon, but completely remove it from the device).
2. Restart the phone.
3. Go to the "Play Store" and redownload and install the correct app.

Should fix the problem.
