YouTube DVR fee

I was reading through the streaming service comparisons and I'm stuck. A couple years ago I had YouTube TV, As the rates continued climbing I began feeling we've been bamboozled. Cable wa taking us to the cleaners though it started because in yesteryear people shared antennas. Greed now has control once again as we seem to pay more than the outlandish rates cable companies used to stuff their pockets. I might have to go back to YouTube TV, but I recall the DVR use was only available if you paid an additional fee for HDR or 4k. Does anyone have info about this?
