I use the YouTubeTV app on my Samsung SmartTVs. It works great and dont need another device such as Roku or AppleTV.

I have YouTubeTV and you do not have it right about the amazing unlimited DVR service. It actually only hold 25 recordings after that you have to watch with ads. And because you can't set it to record new episodes only it fills up the 25 very quickly. It's not great at all.
