Z50-70 screen black

Hello, during the laptop z50-70 use apparently screen turns black but laptop power stays on as i see it from power light. Screen stays black for a hour or two and then gets back to normal. During this period I can't do anything to fix it. Tried to remove battery, switch off ac but still no works. What this could be?

It could be a loose cable, the display is going bad but not done for yet, the GPU is going bad, any number of things. The only way to know for sure would be to have a tech look at it.

Thanks for the answer. If there any possibility to check by my self ? I could open the lid but not sure where I have to look at it?

Were it just the cable I would say maybe. However, due to the fact that it could be the GPU, I would take it to someone.
