How to Use the Roku Mobile App to Manage Channels

The Roku mobile app can help you manage your favourite channels, or be used as a substitute for your remote while browsing. After downloading the app, you can easily set up and manage your channels. Follow these simple steps to guide you through the process.

How to Add Channels Using the Roku Mobile App?

1.) Open 'Channel Store'
Select the 'Channel Store' option in the main menu of your Roku mobile app. The Channel preferences will be shown on screen.

2.) Select 'Channel Category'
Choose the 'Channel Category' on the screen. You will be taken to a catalogue of channels belonging to that category.

3.) 'Add Channel'
Open the app screen and hit the 'Add Channel' button to add the channel. A screen asking for your Roku pin will appear.

4.) Enter Roku Pin
Enter your Roku pin and hit the confirmation button. The channel will be added to your Roku TV, and you will be able to access it on your Roku device.


How to Remove Channels Using the Roku Mobile App?

1.) Select 'Menu' Button
Press the 'Menu' button on the upper right corner of the app’s main screen. You will be taken to a Roku preference menu.

2.) Select 'Channel'
Select the 'My channel' option, and then press and hold the channel you want to remove. The channel info screen will appear.

3.) Hit 'Remove'
Select the 'Remove' option on the channel info page.
Confirm channel removal in the pop-up. The channel will be removed from your Roku streaming device after briefly syncing with the online directory.
