Transfer Pins to a Different Board on Pinterest

While adding multiple Pins to your numerous Pinterest boards, it is possible that you end up having a few unorganized Pins which are on the wrong board. When this is the case, all you need to do is move the Pins from the inappropriate board(s) and add them to the correct board(s) where the Pins actually belong.

In order to transfer the Pins from one board to another, Pinterest allows you to edit the Pins with a few mouse clicks.

Here’s how:

■Sign-in to your Pinterest account using your favorite web browser.
■On the Home page that comes up, click your user name or menu button (button with a pin icon) at the top-right corner.
■From the expanded list, click the Your Profile & Pins option.

■On the next page, make sure that Boards tab is selected.
■From the available list of boards, click the desired one from which you want to move the Pin. (E.g. Stuff to Buy in this demonstration )

■On the board page, hover mouse over the desired Pin that you want to transfer.
■Click Edit (pencil icon) at the top-right corner of the selected Pin.

■On the Edit Pin pop up box, click the Board drop-down list to select the desired board where you want to transfer the selected Pin. Alternatively, you can also create a new board by typing a new name for the new board in Create New Board field and clicking the Create button.

■Finally, click the Save Changes button from bottom-right corner to transfer the Pin to selected board.

Note: After the selected Pin is successfully transferred to the desired board, you might want to go back to the old board and delete the Pin from there in order to avoid Pin redundancy.
