I got this error message:

"This app can't run on your PC
to find a version for your PC check with the software publisher"

Most of my installed software turned to a white icon on my desktop and taskbar

when I click on them I get the error message above

I get the same error message when I try to install them again

any .exe file I click on I get that error message


I am using Windows 10 pro
Dell latitude E6510

Doing it now with windows defender

Yes but Just the way I used to stop it before the thread I created.
from - run - services.msc - windows update - disable windows update "wuauserv"
The problem is that it always starts automatically, so I usually disable it each time I want to connect to my internet

This is showing under my windows update setting "Your device is missing important security and quality fixes."

I just finished scanning with Windows Defender, but actions failed and abandoned on some threats detected
should I use Avast instead?
