Don't expect local resellers to be selling at the price Lenovo has right now. Expect it to be selling at msrp ($1249) not sales price ($799).

Would the price stay around the same with even better specs though? I really like the ultra-bay idea and was hoping to get the type of model (with ultra-bay), same price but better specs if I were to wait a year. Anyone think this may happen?

Have you tried opening up your laptop to see if there's any dust blockage? Is your laptop ventilation and fan area being physically blocked by anything?

Looks like a solid laptop. Lenovo makes nice laptops with pretty good build qualities from experience.
