My Logitech z506 speakers are having trouble functioning properly. They're about a year old. I have Realtek Audio Manager set to 5.1. I can hear static from all of my speakers, but only the front 2, my center, and the sub are working. The side speakers aren't playing, even in the test function...

EDIT (Less than 5 minutes later) : I decided to unplug everything and blow out any dust in the way, then plug it all back in. That seems to have done the trick. I promise I'm not usually impatient enough to not try the most basic things first

I would prefer the total cost to be under $150. They don't have to be fantastic (just the best for the price) as I'm using some Altec Lansing speakers that come with the old pre-built Dell's atm. P.S. Would the Logitech Z623's be any better than this? Thanks!
