Yes that is correct..I do have an IDE cable that connects to a PATA port. The cable is very small such as a ribbon cable with the connector on the end that connects to the dvd/cd player's PATA port and then to the motherboard....what I wanted to do is to install a harddrive in the dvd/cd player...

Hello. Just wondering why Toshiba Satellite resale values are low. I think they are really fast laptops and not so bulky and they do have some cool looks I think but lately I have noticed that the L305's, A355's and so on are not having good resale values, Am I missing something guys or what...
