I have 2 Razer Leviathan and they sound better than my Sennheiser Hd598's even alone. They do not sound as good as my AKG 7xx's though. Still, Excellent bass to them and the highs are great. Supposedly the JBL sounds even better.

Why not get "both" and just get a JBL charge 3 or Razer leviathan mini when Razer has its annual 50% off january CES sale for 90$? (only 1 item need to sign up or something to a razer email thing but toally worth it)

I would wait, see if MAX-Q design makes it to the surface book. I am waiting for that. No GPU will be more powerful than a 965m (or rather its TDP) in that small of a chassis. Question is, do you have the time and cash to blow on that device?

The 940m GPU is only 10-15% faster, I cant tell you if that would matter in your case or not. casual browsing and usage you will not notice much, if any of a difference, between the two devices. What it comes down to is do you like the keyboard base or not essentially. Another thing to consider...
