Try plugging in a monitor to whatever display port is on the laptop, before turning it on again. If an image is displayed to the monitor, the laptop screen is broken.

I'm looking for a gaming laptop for under £1000 that's also no heavier than 2 kilos. Preferably with: i5 or i7 8GB RAM 1TB HDD 1920x1080 res screen 15" screen And i'd like a decent enough NVidia GPU.

I am thinking of buying an amp for running some audio components through, but i do not need the increased audio quality. Is there a cheaper way of running through multiple components (speakers, sound bar, sub) rather than an amp?

Ok so my case only has one 3.5mm input on the back, which is used up by my speakers, which only leaves the 3.5mm in on my speakers, but when i plug the extension into the 3.5mm input on the speakers, the speakers recognize it as a device, so the audio is cut from the speakers.
