laptop not coming on

My laptop fell when charging and has not come on since. the screen is not shattered but it is not coming on. the light for the charger is on and working, as well as the hard drive is working but i cannot get on the laptop screen,it just became blank when fell, what do i do?

Try plugging in a monitor to whatever display port is on the laptop, before turning it on again. If an image is displayed to the monitor, the laptop screen is broken.

What happens when you turn it on? Do you hear anything spin up? (fans/drives) And what lights come on?
